Shelbea Gabrielle is an Atlanta-based performer and teaching artist with a background in opera, musical theatre, and live entertainment.
She has performed across the Southeast and internationally, with favorite credits including Papagena in The Magic Flute, Bea in Something Rotten!, and as a concert soloist for a choral residency at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.
Originally from Macon, Georgia, Shelbea earned her BA in Music from Georgia College & State University and her MM in Vocal Performance from Samford University. During her studies, she performed with Opera Birmingham and Samford Opera, laying the groundwork for a versatile career. Her work spans musicals, opera, concerts, children’s theatre, immersive events, and theme parks.
Shelbea is passionate about storytelling that highlights perseverance, joy, and the beauty in struggle. She thrives in projects that blur genre lines and allow for both depth and playfulness.
In addition to performing, she teaches voice lessons to students of all ages and is currently completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training. She believes in caring for the voice and body with equal attention, blending artistic and holistic practice.
